This attractive indoor tropical plant is a hybrid of alocasia species originally native to Southeast Asia and Borneo. It is a fast-growing plant, prized for its large leaves that can grow up to 20 in (50 cm) in diameter. Regal Shield can grow up to 6 ft, so make sure this plant has lots of room to grow. It prefers high humidity and well-draining soil.
